Gases

The discharge of compressed gases often generates extremely high noise levels. We offer customized solutions for virtually all gases and gas mixtures to effectively reduce noise to the desired level. In doing so, we take into account the specific properties of each gas to achieve the best possible result.

Our Experience Advantage

Thanks to our many years of experience, we have developed an extensive database of measurement results for most of today’s common process gases. Combined with the latest simulation technologies, this expertise gives us a crucial advantage in solving noise-related challenges.

Considering Gas Properties in Silencer Design

Depending on their composition and physical properties, gases exhibit very different noise generation behaviors. These differences must be carefully considered in the design of silencers to achieve optimal results.

Safety Considerations for Flammable Gases

For flammable gases, we also consider safety-relevant factors such as the risk of autoignition.
Shock waves occurring during sudden pressure drops can generate critical temperatures that must be taken into account during the design process.
