1950
Civil engineer Herbert Glaunach starts a company to manufacture equipment for industrial noise control and vibration isolation solutions in his garage.

The first blow off silencer based on the traditional absorbing technology is built for the steam boiler of a local paper mill.

1971
The Glaunach management is handed over to Alfred Glaunach continuing into the second generation of the family. He develops a completely new type of silencer based on diffuser technology. A pioneering invention.

1977
The company receives its first major orders from abroad.

1999
Glaunach becomes a third-generation family business with Alexander Glaunach taking over the management.

 

2009
A new type of silencer for natural gas applications is developed.

 

2019
Glaunach develops a new product to optimise the efficiency of solar- and geothermal power plants.
