This hydrogen vent silencer is based on our renowned diffusor silencer but specifically designed for extremely high pressure and fast flow rates. Not only does it meet all international pressure vessel regulations, but it also impresses with its extremely compact format.

Hydrogen Vent Silencers

Hydrogen is the future, and gas vehicles and hydrogen cars with the appropriate fuel cells are the innovative harbingers of global change. So, it is not surprising that the demand for climate-neutral hydrogen is increasing. The challenge: extremely high flow velocities – and these cause noise. For this reason, together with partners from science and industry, we have developed a new type of silencer that is adapted to the special requirements of H₂.

Hydrogen Silencers are made 100% from stainless steel.

We also offer suitable silencers
for oxygen.

H₂ Micro Diffuser Silencer

For applications where backpressure in the outlet line is permissible, we offer our innovative Micro-Diffusers. Part of the pressure reduction is managed through the silencer, enabling effective noise reduction while maintaining compact product dimensions.

Our microdiffusers meet the requirements of pressure equipment regulations in accordance with the EN Pressure Equipment Directive and the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency.

Typical noise reduction: 10 to 20 dB

H₂ Purge Silencer

To remove unwanted gases from a gas system, the system needs to be purged (vented) regularly. This process creates noise, which is often seen as annoying.

Our purge silencer effectively reduces this noise, making the purging process almost silent - without causing any unwanted backpressure in the outlet line.

Typical noise reduction: 5 to 10 dB

H₂ Inline Silencer

Inline Silencer

When only low backpressure is allowed in the outlet line, noise reduction is achieved using the absorption principle. This requires a larger and heavier silencer, which needs extra support for its weight.

To make installation easier, we offer an Inline-Silencer that can be installed anywhere in the outlet line, allowing for simple and flexible setup.

Typical noise reduction: 20 to 50 dB
